The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them little choice but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Explorers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can expect discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
