Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Second Season Bingo Cards — And She Has Good News

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel debuts on the streaming platform soon, and fan speculation has been rampant.

The first season presents a diverse group of personalities living within Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other accompanied by musical numbers detailing their conflicts, and establishes heated competitions and emotional bonds that drive fan obsession.

The fandom's stated hopes for the new season differ greatly, but certain themes recur frequently: Will Angel Dust break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't make the show with fan service as the main goal," the creator stated earlier this year. "But I believe that me being a devotee of the series implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to happen, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they may be surprised at how fast season 2 progresses, and how much of what they're waiting for unfolds now.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some incredible reveals, some really cool origin tales, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about season 2 — particularly in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've come across a couple people make a prediction grid about season 2," she says. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've already completed a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
